Temple of Demeter

This place is situated just a few kilometers away from the town of Shangri (the road is well signposted), and although there are only ruins, as it was abandoned and looted for its valuable marble, it still manages to maintain a certain appeal. It was built in honor of the goddess of grain, so it is surrounded by rich fields of the island of Naxos. Admission is free and the place is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 to 15.
