Delle Cere E Strumenti Di Tortura Museum

Opened in 1966 the museum Delle Cere e Strumenti di Torture is characterised by a very interesting gallery. This museum has a renowned historical reconstruction, where it houses more than 40 historical scenes and 100 characters in costume, set at some point in the history of San Marino. Among the important characters some stand out figures include: Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, Garibaldi, the Córtese Passator, a character from the history of Rome, San Marino and San Leo. The museum has a special section devoted to melodrama and the different instruments used for torture.
