Deer Valley Rock Art Center

Pretty cool hieroglyph right in the middle of town. Impressive to say the least but understand it takes some hunting to find. There is no visitor center, information signs, no parking lots, no one to guide you or help you.

You literally have to park at a near by church, tighten up your hiking boots and go hiking through an area of undeveloped desert up the side of a large hill looking at the boulders which are everywhere in order to find "the one" Good luck!

A field trip to the Deer Valley Rock Art Center is a wonderful experience. Thought-provoking exhibits allow visitors to participate in the dynamic process of learning about history. The quarter mile track offers an interesting, unobstructed view of antique prints, and a variety of plant and animal life.
