Dead Horse Point State Park

This is one of the most stunning parks to be found in the American West. From this small park, situated in the state of Utah, you can see the erosion process which takes place in the Colorado River. There are no roads to walk on, just a couple of viewpoints, but the views are unforgettable. It was here that they filmed the final scene of Thelma & Louise, but it also became famous when it appeared in the opening scene of the film Mission Impossible II with Tom Cruise climbing up the hillside.
