De Salak Phet Restaurant

The southern part of the island of Koh Chang is sparsely inhabited, and it is hard to find a place to eat around Salak Phet. When you're on the road all there is is greenery and small homes of the native people, it seems impossible to find a restaurant until you reach the end of the road and you see a sign advertising a restaurant. To get there you have to walk over a wooden bridge for a few meters. The restaurant is a private home with views of the ocean and on whose porch is are 4 tables with chairs. This place is run by a lady who speaks very little English but tries to communicate via gestures and always has a smile on her face.
