De Las Pampas is an establishment for the breeding and fattening of cattle. It is in the northwest of the province of Cordoba, close to the small town of Las Jarillas (which has only 13 houses). It's right on the border with Pcias, San Luis and La Rioja and about 60 km from the city of Villa Dolores, also in the region of Cordoba. The vegetation in this whole area is rather low and squat and just now is suffering a severe drought, which started a few months ago, meaning that the owners had to arrange the transfer of the animals to other pastures. They invited me to join them for a weekend and it was a nice experience.
