De Carretera. (Kanchanaburi) Restaurants

As is the case in the majority of Thailand, along the road that takes you to Kanchanaburi you can find many restaurants. This is very handy when you go are travelling independently but not so much if you go on an organized tour. These restaurant serve traditional Thai food. We stopped and ordered a little bit of everything, rice, salad, chicken and pork thai style and it was pretty good. As always take care when you order spicy meals. We ate under a roof outside on tables and plastic chairs but everything was very clean and as I say, the food was not bad. The good thing about these places is that they are cheap.
