The ideal place to relax
It is a dam or reservoir which is the largest in the Czech republic. Built between 1950 and 1959 with the waters of the Vltava river, the longest in the country, and the same river which flows through its capital Prague, has a length of 44 kms and a maximum width of 16 kms. This charming place, where we stayed for a week, was our base of operations for visiting some cities and towns in the southern Bohemia.
