Dakar Rosario 2014

Como muchos sabrán, dado la cantidad de edificios de valor patrimonial, restaurantes y museos que he venido subiendo durante tanto años además de mis paseos por otras partes del mundo, el ETUR es una asociación pública y privada que desde hace más de 15 años viene trabajando mancomunadamente para promocionar y promover distintos lugares y espectáculos y convertir a Rosario en una ciudad turística y vaya si lo han logrado. Aquí nos quejamos de todo y por todo pero tenemos mucho para mostrar al mundo. Contarles que estos días la ciudad parecía un gigantesco colmenar no habrá de llamarles la atención porque hemos sido tapa de diarios y noticia de TV en todas partes. Para mí que vivo en Galería Rosario (de valor patrimonial y la más antigua de la ciudad), que estoy a cinco cuadras del Monumento Histórico Nacional a la Bandera Argentina, a siete del río Paraná y todo lo que esto conlleva, intentar movilizarse ha sido bastante dificultoso pero sumamente divertido. Claro está que no pude subirme al podio de largada ni instalarme por la noche, como muchos jóvenes, en el Parque a la Bandera o en la popular Avenida Pellegrini, y les diré que hasta la salida de Rosario hacia Córdoba durante más de tres días. Pude tomar fotos desde la terraza del edificio donde viven unos amigos a escasos metros del Monumento y ver la marea humana de gente participando del espectáculo gratuito montado en el Patio Cívico donde se encontraban Peteco Carabajal (La Banda. Santiago del Estero) y Soledad Pastorutti (Arequito. Pcia. de Santa Fe), ambos famosos folkloristas. A la mañana siguiente salí alrededor de las 10.00 hs. y bajé a fotografiar lo que estaba vallado y momentáneamente con poca gente, la carpas donde vendían todo lo original del Dakar desde banderines hasta camisetas y zapatillas, las numerosas banderas anunciando el evento y hasta el sitio donde estaba la bandera de largada con sus enormes cuadros blancos y negros. El sábado por la tarde me acerque como pude y encabezaban el desfiles las motos y más atrás los autos, finalmente los camiones, pero era tal el apretujamiento que decidí retirarme pues me faltaba el aire. Lo demás lo habrán visto por televisión o en algún diario todos aquellos amantes de los “fierros”. Los datos son del ETUR. Hoy 8 de febrero de 2014 quiero agregar unas fotos que dejé en otra memoria y dedico especialmente a mis amigos minuberos amantes de las motos y del karting, jovenes o no tanto, para que las disfruten.!!!
