Beautiful place
Dad Ibe is unique and unforgettable. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was good, but left wanting to stay one more day. When we got to the airport in a small plane, we went with Sammy, Dad Ibe's guide, a lovely person! We took a boat to the island and he told us about the island, the people and Kuna Yala culture. Arriving in Dad Ibe we could not believe that this beautiful place actually existed. The island is composed of 3 cabins (comfortable inside), a restaurant, and a small storage hut. The place is amazing, it makes you feel like you are on a private island, you walk around the island as if it is your own.
The dining room is shared with the other two cabins, and to announce the time to eat Sammy makes a call through a snail. All the people working on the island, Sammy, Braulina, the cook, and the rest of the people, makes you feel like family, so good, so friendly, you learn so much from them about their culture. The island is very small and that's what makes it more beautiful, a small strip of sand in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, it is a unique and unforgettable experience. A paradise, accompanied by wonderful people and rich fresh food prepared by Braulina, a lovely woman who never stopped smiling since we walked onto the island. It is highly recommendable to stay at Dad Ibe, but bear in mind that you will not find yourself with luxuries, parties or many people - it is a place to relax and unwind, a paradise.
