A taste of Lucania
This was such a great restaurant that we ate there twice. The town of Rotonda has DOP status for a species of aubergine "melanzana rossa", this can be tasted in the sotto olio antipasto. However it would be a mistake not to also order the tortino of nduja with cheese of lucania. The house red wine is excellent and if you have room at the end of the meal try the local caciocavallo cheese served with a dessert wine. Meal for two will cost around 60 euros.
