The location couldn't be better
The accommodation at Curry Village wasn't the best (their tents were dirty and in need of mending), but the location couldn't be better. The bathrooms and showers were more of the same: lacking in maintenance and cleanliness. They advised us to keep everything from food to cosmetics in an iron trunk at the food of our tent in case some hungry animals wandered into camp. The best part about the camp is the well-stocked food and drink shops. There are a couple of Italian restaurants with terraces and a few more conventional restaurants, one with a rather charming fireplace and porch that makes for an excellent place for a beer and reflection about your day exploring Yosemite.
