The restaurant Curry 66 is near the Boxhagener Platz in the Friedrichshain neighborhood. It is a very nice neighborhood with lots of different places to to go to eat and have a drink. We went to this one because others offered a buffet brunch and we wanted something quick and easy. Like other currywurst houses, Curry 66 serves sausages covered with ketchup and curry powder, one delicacy that was inherited from the American soldiers at the end of the Second World War. It costs less than $5 and is served with chips or salad on a plate elongated like a canoe. We also tried the buleten, a type of big ball of crushed crushed that is cut into pieces, but inherited this time from the French Huguenots.
