It is a spa town in the heart of Portugal between Aveiro and Coimbra. The baths offer traditional comfort with contemporary technology to meet requirements throughout the year. There are many hotels in the area such as the great Curia Palace Hotel, a 4 star hotel I stayed in. There is also the Hotel Termas de Curia A 3 star with a garden, pool and a Lake. Another is the "Grande Hotel Curia" an ideal place for a relaxing weekend for events with family or friends and why not, a honeymoon to surprise your other half. They are close to each other and something that draws attention to the charm of the past were mansions or colonial type structures that indicate its clear Roman origin, hence the name Curia, a little-known spa town in Spanish areas.
