Inside is a little more beautiful than outside
When Broad Street rises after the Priory Church, the most important building of Puerto Real can be seen at close range. In stark contrast to the Baroque and plateresca Priory, the exterior is ugly, It's called neoclassical, but it has a basic problem as it's very high, which breaks the classic proportions. It was a temple built by the Brotherhood of Carpenters, an essential industry of the day for trading ships. In 1794 construction finished and it received the name of Church of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. It stood for many years until it closed in 1992 and was restored for use as a cultural center.
