Beautiful, rugged terrain
The Cuillins are a group of mountains that make up the central part of the Isle of Skye. They are famous for their beauty, but they also have a certain level of notoriety as they are very difficult to climb. If you go around the island by boat, you'll see fantastic views of these mountains. The highest point is the peak called the Black Cuillin (also known as Sgurr Alasdair) which, at 992 meters high, has been declared one of the Natioanl Scenic Areas in Scotland.
It's a Grade 3 climb and requires climbing ropes, harnesses, helmets and more. To conquer this mountain you'll need to be well-trained.
