Csibefaló

La cadena de restaurantes “Csibefaló” es uno de los sitios más populares para los estudiantes húngaros en Budapest. Cuenta con sucursales en muchísimos sitios de la capital húngara y ofrece menús con descuento a cualquiera que tenga una tarjeta de estudiante ya sea de Hungría o de cualquier otro país de la Unión Europea. Se caracteriza principalmente por ofrecer porciones grandes y platillos simples (básicamente lo único que se busca siendo estudiante). Si estás viajando por Hungría y quieres comer algo rico y barato, seguramente tendrás un “Csibefaló” a pocos pasos. El menú para estudiantes cuesta alrededor de 700 florines (poco más de dos euros) y consiste en una guarnición (a elegir entre arroz y pasta) y algún platillo principal (generalmente pollo empanizado o chuletas de cerdo), además de una bebida. Si bien he visitado varios “Csibefaló”, el más popular se encuentra al interior del centro comercial “Allee”, en la zona de Moritz Zsigmond Körter; uno de los principales centros de conexión para los distintos modos de transporte público en la ciudad. Sin embargo, también hay sucursales en los alrededores de las estaciones de tren de Ketleti, Nyugati, Déli e incluso en la terminal de autobuses de Népliget, en el sur de la ciudad.

The restaurant chain "Csibefaló" is one of the most popular sites for Hungarian students in Budapest. It has branches in many places of the Hungarian capital and offers discounted menus anyone with a student card either Hungary or any other country in the European Union. It is characterized mainly by offering large portions and simple dishes (basically the only thing looking as a student). If you are traveling by Hungary and want to eat something good and cheap, it probably will have a "Csibefaló" a few steps. The menu for students costs about 700 guilders (just over two euros) and consists of a lining (choice of rice and pasta) and a main dish (usually breaded chicken or pork chops), plus a drink. While I have visited several "Csibefaló", the most popular is within the "Allee" shopping center in the area körtér Zsigmond Moritz; one of the main hubs for the various modes of public transport in the city. However, there are also branches around train stations Ketleti, Nyugati, Déli and even the Népliget bus terminal in the south of the city.
