Cruise on the Loire

There are several routes on the Loire. In summer some leave form the center of Tours, but if that is a bit far, I recommend leaving from the village of Rochecorbon. It has a large boat with much room for 9 euros / adult and 6 for children. You can enjoy a guided cruise of less than an hour (the good thing is that they offer several languages). You can buy tickets at 56 Quai de la Loire, but if you have much time to visit the area, and want to avoid bad surprises, it would be best to make a reservation by phone or on-line.
