If you're going up Alexandre Taveira stree, a little ways past the City Hall building , you'll come to a fairly large pedestrian square where you'll see a kind of granite temple. It is square and has no side walls, just four columns supporting a roof on which stands a cross. Under it there is a stone cross with the image carved in stone, of a crucified.
