Hotel with Archaeological Basement
The hotel is in the center of Brussels in Burg Square, next to the historic City Hall and Chapel of the Holy Blood. It has 96 rooms, which were completely renovated in 2007. I didn't stay there for the price of the room, which is around € 112-267 per room, but I visited the basement of the hotel. There you can admire the ruins of the famous Sint-Donaas Church from the 12th century, and the remains of the city walls from 1000 years ago. When building the hotel they found this respected archaeological site because they came to an agreement with the city for anyone who would like to see the basement you can see it as a guest or not.
