Gothic cross from the medieval times
The original location of this boundary cross was holding the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, on the edge of what was the fishing town of Tossa in the Middle Ages,. It is next to the entrance gate of the Vila Vella. It is Gothic and late medieval and presents the cross blades shaped lilies. There are images represented, including San Benito, as Tossa depended on the Benedictine monastery.
