Great place for a walk
Crescent Beach is a relaxing, yet small beach in Niantic, Connecticut. The beach generally has a lifeguard on duty in the summer. Stop by the Crescent Beach Food Stand if you are looking for a quick snack without having to get fully changed out of your swimsuit. There is no parking at this beach, so it is best walked to from a surrounding house, hotel, or another adjacent beach. Traffic in this part of Niantic is minimal and walking from the Niantic Bay Boardwalk through Hole in the Wall Beach, and McCooks Point Beach and Park is a nice, more than a mile walk.
