Crate and Barrel

Crate and Barrel is a U.S. chain of shops and home furniture. In Manhattan there are a couple of department stores, and a friend who knows my passion for interior design recommended that I visit the store in the SoHo neighborhood, at 611 Broadway. It's huge, extending over several floors, and sells everything from stylish kitchen accessories and place mats to complete furnishings for living rooms, offices and bedrooms. The style is minimalist and generally affordable, but still high quality.
