Long sandy black-sand beach
One of the main sights in Le Carbet is its bay, surrounded by lush greenery at the foot of Mount Pelée . The city has a long sandy black-sand beach and the warm, blue waters of the Caribbean. The shore is covered by palm trees under which the local fishermen prepare their nets in the shade. Le Carbet is an ideal place for diving, since the shallow waters hold a sunken galleon.
