Contemplate the sea from the terrace

Excellent

This is a restaurant that has a terrace overlooking the sea and the restaurant itself is carved into the rock.
It’s an odd place: it seems that a Menorcan from Ciutadella that goes by the artistic name Kyana bought this small cave in Cala Santandria and excavated the cave to increase its size. He also sculpted curious figures and medallions and decorated it with the shells of Nacras, a bivalve mollusk about 50cm long.

There’s also a museum with his sculptures but it was closed and we couldn't see it. We ate there two days and contemplated the sea from the terrace. They have paella, roast meat, grilled Menorcan red shrimp, delicious fish, and salads.

Truth is that we really enjoyed it. At night, they put on music and light candles and it makes for a very agreeable atmosphere to have a drink. There are also some stairs that go down towards the sea and a small trampoline. The hotel Prinsotel la Caleta is also just behind Cova Sa Nacra.
