Good Cardio with a View
Mount Tapyas was my 6 year old daughter's first hike; and I've never seen her so energetic. She climbed like just walking a straight path! She even climbed down to wait for me because I'm the one having a hard time catching my breath.
The only downside is the ruined convenience store which is full of graffiti- it almost looked like a public rest room.
From the town plaza, you can walk your way to its jump-off. There's a huge cross at the top; and to get there, one must endure 720+ steps. We're a little late upon reaching the cross. Next time, we'll try hiking early morning to catch
