Corella Ballet

Anoche (30 de agosto), tuve la oportunidad de ver el Ballet de Ángel Corella en Colmenar Viejo. Es precisamente aquí donde el famoso bailarín nació y pasó las primeras etapas de su vida. Y ha sido en el Auditorio donde todo el público se ha levantado para darle una ovación bien merecida. Porque Ángel Corella es una gran figura española del baile clásico que consiguió deleitarnos con su compañía. La compañía creada en abril del 2008 ya cuenta en su historial con las obras de “La Bayadera” y “el Lago de los Cisnes”. Esta noche hemos visto la representación de cuatro piezas sobre las que destacó la Soleá que Ángel bailó con su hermana Carmen. El Pas De Deux bailado por los hermanos emocionó a todo el público. Se vio intensidad, fuerza, elegancia y compenetración entre ambos bailarines. Al final del movimiento, todo el Auditorio se puso en pie para aplaudir a un par de artistas que disfrutaron tanto de esos minutos como nosotros lo hicimos. Durante la representación pudimos disfrutar de las figuras de la bailarina Kazuko Omori, del enérgico Herman Cornejo y del excelente Ángel Corella, ambos llegados del American Ballet. Además, también vimos “In The Upper Room”, obra escrita para el American Ballet y estrenado en el año 1986. Espero volver a ver a esta compañía hacer nuevas representaciones porque escenarios como el Auditorio de Colmenar Viejo se queda pequeño para ellos.

Tonight we have seen the representation of four parts which highlighted the Solea Angel danced with her sister Carmen. The Pas De Deux danced by the brothers moved to the public. Intensity, strength, elegance and rapport between the two dancers I saw. At the end of the movement, the whole auditorium stood to applaud a pair of artists who enjoyed both of those minutes as we did. During the performance we could enjoy the dancing figures Kazuko Omori, the energetic Herman Cornejo and Angel Corella excellent, both arrivals of American Ballet. In addition, we also saw "In The Upper Room", written for the American Ballet and premiered in 1986 work. I hope to see this company make new representations because venues like the Auditorium of Colmenar Viejo is too small for them.
