Coral Beach

Hacer "esnorquel" en esta reserva marina es como ver un documental de vida marina pero en vivo. Ver peces de colores pasar tan cerca de ti y casi tocarlos con las manos es casi irreal. Peces de vivos colores, corales, erizos de mar, y hasta rayas puedes encontrarte navegando a tu alrededor. Llegar a Coral Beach es fácil desde Eilat; La entrada son unos 5€ y allí puedes alquilar el equipo por tan sólo unos 4€. Además, es un tanto especial estar en el mismo Mar Rojo, con Jordania frente a ti, al otro lado del golfo de Aqaba o de Eilat, y a unos metros de Egipto.

Make "snorkel" in this marine reserve is like watching a documentary of marine life but live. View goldfish pass so close to you and almost touch them with your hands is almost unreal. Colorful fish, corals, sea urchins, and even stripes can find browsing around. Getting to Coral Beach is easy from Eilat; Admission is about 5 € and there you can rent equipment for just about 4 €. It is also a bit special to be in the same Red Sea, with Jordan in front of you, across the Gulf of Aqaba and Eilat, and a few meters from Egypt.

Si estás en Aqaba te recomiendo que vayas a snorkelear a Coral Beach. El coral en sí no es muy grande pero es muy colorido y con gran variedad de especies marinas. El trayecto en barco es una excelente opción ya que se puede disfrutar de un paseo por el mar. En mi experiencia en el barco, después de snorkelear nos ofrecieron una comida a base de pollo y pescado a la parrilla, ensalada y hummus.

If ests in Aqaba I suggest you go to snorkel at Coral Beach. S The coral is not great but it is very colorful and with great variety of marine species. The boat ride is a great option because you can enjoy a walk by the sea. In my experience on the boat, after snorkeling we were offered a meal of chicken and grilled fish, salad and hummus.

Las playas del Sur de Eilat son las mejores de la ciudad, sin embargo no son espectaculares, esta lleno de piedras y no hay mucho lugar donde acomodorse. Hay algunos restobares muy buenos y varios centros de buceos. Lo que si es espectacular es lo que sucede bajo el agua, no hace falta bucear para ver peces y corales espectaculares, simplemente una mascara y snorkel y alucinaras.

The beaches of Southern Eilat are the best in town, but are not spectacular, it is full of rocks and not much place acomodorse. There are some very good restobars and several diving centers.
