Cool Corner Restaurant
Ratchadamnoen Klang is a street that has a great atmosphere and you can find considerably cheaper prices than on the expensive and parallel Khao San Road. It has all kinds of restaurants, but my favorite is definitely one called the Cool Corner because of the excellent quality and the value for money. Only once did I find that the dish I ordered didn't seem to be what I hoped for. The squid, which you can see in the pictures, was ridiculously small and did not seem worth the 160 bath I paid for it (remember that this is Asia...). Otherwise, the food was very good(especially the noodles with vegetables and prawns that you can also see in the pictures) and I paid good prices.
You can buy Chang Beer for 60 bath, simple "rice with ..." dishes for 60 or 70 bath, or more elaborate dishes such as the secret BBQ pork for 90 bath. Also, Red Snapper costs between 250 and 300 bath. Of all of the restaurants that are in the area, and after having kissed a lot of frogs, I recommend it without hesitation. In a week, I went back four times.
