Constitutional Palace
Getxo City Council is located in a palace built between 1917 and 1928, designed by architects architect Fidel Urrutia and J. Ignacio Smith. It is rectangular with corner towers and is built of masonry from Berango quarries. Aspects that stand out are the asymmetry of the facade, windows and balconies with wrought iron grilles in different patters. The front is topped with a cornice with murals. The uneven ground in the front has a flight of steps. In front of the palace is a square hall and the Church of San Ignacio de Loyola.
