Coniston Water

A beautiful, typical English where you will find beautiful landscapes and activities for the whole family. This lake is the nerve center of the village, it is involved in the majority of activities you can enjoy in this area. The lake is changing all the time because of the effect of it's beautiful natural surroundings. One of the most bucolic images is to see this lake from the pier on a cloudy day, with its quiet waters reflecting the sky. Coniston Water (as this lake is known in English) is the third largest lake in England and has a maximum depth of 56 meters. In its waters the speed record was broken in the early twentieth century and was the inspiration for writer Raymond Chandler and his book The Lady of the Lake.
