Zona del Tempio di Confucio
La zona del tempio di Confucio (in cinese fuzi miao 夫子庙) si trova presso il fiume Qin Huai ed è piena di negozi, ristoranti, case del tè e bar. L'architettura della zona è in stile Ming e Qing, molto bella e tradizionale.
Il tempio, dedicato al famoso filosofo cinese, fu costruito nel 1034, ma purtroppo non ha molto di religioso o spirituale. Quando ci sono stata io, a capodanno, vi erano molte lanterne e decorazioni piuttosto infantili. Io non ci sono entrata, ma se non avete mai visitato un tempio di Confucio vi consiglio di farlo, dato che è molto diverso dai templi buddisti e taoisti.
Sulla rive del fiume si trova un muro in mattoni con due bellissimi draghi gialli: si tratta del murales più lungo di tutta Cina, ben 110 metri!
La zona è molto bella, anche se caotica, ma è perfetta per pranzare (o cenare), fare shopping ed ammirare edifici in stile tradizionale cinese.
