Compostela Roundabout

La Glorieta de Compostela se localiza en el centro comercial y financiero de la ciudad pontevedresa muy próxima al barrio de la Peregrina y es una plaza totalmente peatonal ya que sus calles están rodeadas de comercios y algunas cafeterias. En la parte central de la glorieta llama la atención una original fuente al nivel del suelo del que salen los chorros de agua, y donde nos encontramos con tres bonitas esculturas de niños jugando. Esta glorieta junto con la plaza de la Ferreria y plaza de Ourense constituyen el corazón latente de la capital, así como la larga calle peatonal y comercial de Benito Corbal.

The Glorieta de Compostela is located in the commercial and financial center of the city of Pontevedra very close to the neighborhood of the Pilgrim and is a pedestrianized square and its streets are surrounded by shops and some cafes. La glorieta de Compostela está situada a mitad de la rúa da Peregrina, una de las principales calles de Pontevedra. Se trata de una plaza semipeatonal cuyo centro está ocupado por una original fuente al nivel del suelo, donde hay también varias esculturas de niños que parecen jugar con los chorros de agua. Otra de las características de esta plaza son sus grandes terrazas, casi siempre llenas de gente que escoge esta céntrica zona para tomarse un refresco.

The roundabout is situated mid Compostela Rua da Peregrina, one of the main streets of Pontevedra.
