Complesso SS Trinità e Paradiso

Una volta c’erano le suore e dentro l’edificio regnava il silenzio, mentre fuori, nel curatissimo chiostro dalle enormi palme e ricco di fiori, i ragazzi dell’oratorio e della scuola giocavano a pallone, con il vociare che si può facilmente immaginare. Oggi, invece, vi è silenzio dentro e fuori, eccezion fatta per eventi che si sceglie di svolgere nell’ex Istituto magistrale “Ss. Trinità e Paradiso”. Attualmente, i fiori sono scomparsi dal chiostro, le palme sono seccate e vi è una querelle in merito ad una divisione di ambienti tra Comune e privati. Malgrado tutto, bambini delle elementari e ragazzi dell’ Istituto Alberghiero si sono susseguiti in un luogo che conserva il suo fascino e la sua storia. Singolari le mura merlate che permettono di accedere al giardinetto sito prima del chiostro da via Rimembranza, dominate da una statua della Madonna. Un’altra entrata si trova, invece, a Via San Ciro, dove è stato realizzato un orto didattico per i ragazzi. Un’altra entrata ancora si ha in via Filangieri, ma è quasi sempre chiusa. In ogni caso, da qualunque lato si decida di accedere, vale la pena fare un salto in questo luogo ricco di storia dove si svolgono eventi quali concerti e mostre e dove vi è la sede del Museo Mineralogico Campano che ospita importanti reperti e che merita di essere visitato.
