Commercial Street

La calle principal y, por supuesto, la más animada de la pequeña localidad de Provincetown es Commercial Street. La calle transcurre de forma paralela a la playa y desde esta calle se comunica fácilmente con el puerto o la carretera. Es un lugar de visita obligada en Provincetown ya que está llena de comercios, restaurantes y siempre hay gente. Una buena zona para pasear es cerca del puerto ya que allí hay muchos establecimientos para probar la famosa loobster, es decir, la langosta, uno de los platos más típicos de Cape Cod y también de Provincetown. Merece la pena probarla, ya sea en uno de los restaurantes en los que se venden a peso o en los locales de comida rápida y take away donde puedes comerla tanto en ensalada como con todo tipo de salsas. A lo largo de Commercial Street podrás encontrar todo tipo de tiendas, galerías de arte, tiendas de antigüedades, comercios en los que comprar recuerdos para toda la familia, heladerías, tiendas de música... Lo más complicado en los alrededores de Commercial Street es el aparcamiento ya que en esta calle, fundamentalmente peatonal no hay mucho espacio para apartar, aunque en las inmediaciones del puerto hay varios aparcamientos en los que no es muy caro dejar el coche durante unas horas.
