Comares Tower- Hall of the Ambassadors

The Torre de Comares is the highest of all Alhambra, standing at 45 meters in the Palace complex it is one of the most photographed from the viewpoint of San Nicolás. It is difficult to say whether the Tower looks to the Albaicín, so white, so beautiful, or if it is the Albaicín that looks dreamily at the Alhambra.

Perfect, squared, solemn and with few architectural details, do not be fooled by what you see from afar. The image of the tower is more representative of a fortress than a palace but the interior houses one of the most exquisite and solemn spots in the city of Alhambra: the Hall of the Ambassadors, the Comares, also known as the Throne room.
