Parmi les symboles de l'indépendances du Paraguay que l'on peut croiser dans le parc de l'église catédrale, on trouve d'abord un colone blanche toute simple, surplombée d'une statue de femme brandissant un flambeau. Sur le socle de cette colone sans nom, deux dates importantes : celle de la création d'Asuncion en 1537 et celle de son indépendance en 1842.
Among the symbols of the independence of Paraguay that can be crossed in the park Catédrale church, we first find a simple white colone, topped with a statue of a woman holding a torch. On the basis of this colone unnamed two important dates: the date of the creation of Asuncion in 1537 and the independence in 1842.
