Hotel in the town of Luss
The hotel is in the town of Luss, on the west bank of Loch Lomond. On foot, you can go to Luss pier and explore the lake by boat. As Scotland, other aquatic sports such as bathing is temperature dependent, but it is a lovely place in the middle of nature. It is best if you have a car, but it can go from Glasgow by train to Balloch and then take a bus to that takes you to Luss. The hotel was recently refurbished inside, but outside it keeps the feel of ancient Scottish pub. The inside there is a restaurant serving drinks and regional food. All rooms have a private bathroom a TV and you need to make tea and coffee.
Breakfast is Scottish, ie sausage, blood sausage and bacon, you have to ask if you want something else. In winter they do traditional dance sessions over the weekend to accompany dinner. At the level of prices, the single room costs 45 pounds a night, double 65 and four 110 familial. There is a fourth four little beds for £ 75 too.
