Dentro de un parque
Este colegio no tendría mayor trascendencia si no fuera por dos cosas, la primera es que está ubicado dentro del parque por lo que los niños que estás estudiando en este colegio tienen una oportunidad inmejorable para aprender de la naturaleza estando en contacto directo con ella, ya que en el parque se han esforzado por traer diferentes especies de arboles, plantas y flores con sus correspondientes placas de identificación sobre las especies. La segunda es que en los años 20 este edificio no era un colegio sino El Chalet de Buenos Aires el cual en los años 50 fue cuando se amplio para hacer el llamado Grupo Escolar San Fernando. A este colegio se accede mejor por el paseo Simón Abril y junto a el encontramos la pequeña biblioteca y justo en frente uno de las avenidas principales de este parque.
