Colegio Mayor Rector Peset. Sala la Muralla

El Colegio Mayor Rector Peset es un centro de la Universitat de València que está junto a uno de los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad, la iglesia de San Nicolás, y hasta el otro día no sabía de su existencia, ya que fui a ver una exposición a su sala de la muralla. Es un edificio precioso, que proporciona residencia sobre todo a los miembros de la Universitat de València. El Colegio Mayor Rector Peset está ubicado en una rica casa señorial que en 1997 fue rehabilitada. Se han conservado en el edificio algunos elementos de interés, como este lienzo de la muralla árabe (siglo XI) que está en la sala de exposiciones subterránea, la Torre de Miramar (siglo XVIII), y la bóveda con linterna del siglo XIX que corona la escalera principal que veréis a la derecha nada más entrar.
