The Haymarket Clock Tower is a symbol in the historic center of Leicester. It is also a popular meeting point to meet for taking a walk around. The clock tower was built in 1868, in the middle of a roundabout around which traffic was organized. It was designed by Joseph Goddard, who built it with local Ketton stone.
