Pays de la Loire
Clisson
Clisson is a very touristy town, by the River Sevre and Moine River. This confluence of rivers has given the town a remarkable cultural and historical richness. Its situation, just 30 minutes from Nantes, makes it the perfect getaway if you want to get to know the Pays de la Loire area. The medieval castle, built on a hill by the river, is impressive. The structure of this fortress is spread over the valley and the city. The French style of the town center a touch yellow, a sweet taste, almost Tuscan. Its endless vineyards and poppy fields form the shadow of the castle. What gives you the feeling you are entering in Tuscany are the red tiled roofs and the village church.
