Left a Bad Taste
This was the only hotel that left a bad taste in my mouth during my stay in Canada. First due to its poor location, then what we found inside. I guess that its name, Classique, was pre-existing because the owners mustn't know how to carry out a renovation or how to look after a building. The state of the room was quite awful, and I do not consider myself as someone demanding. The noise of the smoke extractors from the kitchen barely let us sleep. A thousand and one details come to mind such as the floor of the concrete terrace missing some tiles, the lack of bulbs and chips in the furniture and that the bathtub leaked water.
Breakfast barely covered what was expected and there were few or no kind words from the staff and then you find an envelope on the desk asking for the missing tip. In theory it was to be the best hotel during our trip, but in reality it fell short compared to the others. It's not about asking for luxuries, but rather requiring that everything functions properly and is in perfect condition.
