La principale église de Levanto, à côté de l'ancien château médiéval, est un édifice remarquable du gothique ligure avec une façade rayée alternant bandes de marbre de Carare et de serpentine locale. La rosace est une oeuvre dentelée en marbre de Carare, remarquable. La construction date du XIIIème siècle, et on retrouve semblable façade à Monterosso al Mare, à quelques kilomètres de là, dans le Parc National des Cinque Terre.
The main church of Levanto, near the medieval castle is a remarkable building with a facade gothic Ligurian striped alternating bands of marble Carare and local serpentine. The rosette is a jagged marble Carare work, remarkable. The building dates from the thirteenth century, and similar facade found in Monterosso al Mare, a few kilometers away, in the National Park of Cinque Terre.
