Saint-Laurent Church

2 reviews of Saint-Laurent Church

eautiful church

Walking through the district of one of the most typical districts of Paris, Gare du Nord (on the right bank of the Seine), we found the beautiful Saint Laurent church. The Gare du Nord district doesn't have a very good reputation (perhaps it's a melting pot) but has good value accommodation, two main railway stations (Eastern and Northern) and some attractions like the Canal Saint Martin, the boulevard de Magenta, restaurants, bars and this beautiful church.

Located between the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, on the famous boulevard Magenta, in the heart of the tenth arrondissement of Paris city, the church of Saint Laurent is a monument that strikes the visitor. It is indeed a building with unique architecture, originally dating from the sixth century. Following the ravages of time and the elements, the church has undergone several major changes, including being rebuilt in the early fifteenth century in the Gothic style. A nice monument not to be missed.
