Church of Valderrobres

Known as the church of Santa María la Mayor, its gothic constructed various phases during the XIV and XV centuries, coinciding among others with the reign of Pope Benedict XIII (Papa Luna), but later undergoing several renovations.

Actually, it is very well preserved; 30 years ago it was declared a Historic-Artistic monument. You can see the remains of the high altarpiece, but the greater part was destroyed during the civil war.
