London's oldest church
The Anglican church of St Barts (as Londoners call it) is a little gem that deserves to be better known, although part of its charm comes from the fact that it's off the beaten track. It's the oldest church in London, dating back to 1123 when it was a monastery (it has been changed significantly a few times in its history). The history is well-explained on the information sheet you'll be given at the entrance (which costs £ 4, £ 1 for permission to take photos).
