Not located in the city centre, the church was built between 1872 and 1875. The Church of San Jose, normally closed, is open every afternoon in summer. The neo-Gothic building, built of granite, has a pierced Cornish style bell located above the East Room, which serves as an entrance. Inside, the wooden ceiling is traditionally painted blue to represent the sky, with beams decorated with dragon heads. Free entrance.
