Sandanski´s grave next to a church
Next to Rozhen Monastery, the dispute over ownership of the monastery led to the Macedonian revolutionary Yane Sandanski to begin construction of this church in the year 1914 for Bulgarian to the Orthodox Church forbade Rozhen step. Sandanski's grave is outside next to the church.
