Mother Church
The central church of Vila do Conde is a Gothic building with Manueline, Baroque and neo-gothic elements. Its construction was prompted by Don Manuel in 1502. The highlights are the decorated porch (whose authorship is attributed to João de Castilho) and altarpieces, with richly decorated with beautiful polychrome chapels. When I visited it was closed for renovation, so I don't have photos of the inside.
